My big art show is coming up next Friday, so I got right on to taking photos. I've been meaning to get some nice photography going, especially macro shots *not this one*, but the winter sucks as photo time for me, and my neighbors wont't let me photograph their cherry blossom tree--bastards--...so I finally got a little inspiration.
My sister loves "tea time" *she's 12, but she's got cerebral palsy*, and today she put on her oven mits and matching apron and we had a tea party. I noticed how she's growing up, and her 13th birthday will be soon. I thought to capture her childhood in this shot. It means a lot to me, but probably not much to anyone else.
I chose the soft colors because she's a very pure person. Very innocent and childlike. About 5 years old mentally. So I pulled out a pink blanket and her yellow tea cup, and shot this around 5:00, when the sunset light was coming through the window.
I edited it to give it a faded look, which I've always liked to do. ^^ Hope you like it. Critiques would be appreciated, and since I don't subscribe, just critique me in a comment. lol
that is an amazing picture!~ the fade really did make it look nice, and waiting for the sunlight was a smart thing to do~ good job! youre really good at photography ^^
